At Bloomberg, I have worked on multiple solutions to improve equity and fundamentals analysis workflows on the Bloomberg Terminal. These include features for equity screening, idea generation and brand new factor analysis tools for quantamental users. I have also designed multi-asset class passive monitoring tools to track daily and historic market movement, market alerts, and alert management.

More recently, I have worked closely with senior stakeholders to design experiences for Bloomberg’s web-based tools that deliver real-time or request-response enterprise data via Bloomberg’s HAPI and REST APIs, along with the IAM management, reporting, and support tools for clients.

Senior Interaction Designer

Morningstar Inc.

Designed some core components and behaviors for the Morningstar Direct web platform such as grids, list management, settings, and global search. Worked on cross-platform collaborative tools such as charts and investment notes for the end users of Morningstar’s professional products. Played an active role in facilitating product planning summits and delivering high-level workflow outcomes for user types such as individual investment advisors.

Prototyped interaction models for individual modules within an overhauled Product Details Page with a modular, responsive front end UX and a governance-based back end for the new Sears ecommerce site. Inherited a complex, high value project to achieve a unified actual and promotional product price display system across the TOF (Top of Funnel) site experience. Led stakeholder reviews to drive consensus across various business units. Provided UX wireframes and prototypes to cover all usecases that was signed off by business units.

Worked in the Consumer Experience Design (CXD) group to create UI wireframes and VX specs for various mobile and wearable devices including:

• MotoActv (a fitness and media wearable device).
• Mobile sync app for MotoActv.
• Multiple releases of car driving apps and tablet docking experiences on Android.
• Webtop 2.0 (a mobile desktop environment).

Other activities include participating in internal research, testing and brainstorming sessions with other design disciplines within CXD.
